A custom carpentry and handyman site built for a real client in Nova Scotia, not a concept mockup.
Staged Right Carpentry takes on five different kinds of work, from coffered ceilings and custom vanities to decks, log-home staircases, and the small repair jobs. A Facebook page and an email address can't lay that out: photos scroll away, there is nowhere to see one type of work in one place, and every estimate starts with the same back-and-forth about what the job actually is.
A six-page site built to feel like the workshop it comes from. The navigation bar is a walnut plank, the hero is polished mahogany with two of the client's own projects in mitred wood frames, and the rolling banner is a tape measure, with inch and metric marks, that visitors can lock in place. Each of the five services (custom carpentry, cabinet making, decks and fencing, staircases and railings, handyman services) gets its own page with a clipboard of what it covers and the client's real project photos, each on a brass nameplate. Handyman work is a ticked-off job list instead of photos. Sawdust drifts down and settles behind the service blocks, and in the About section the boards behind the framed text are stained, sanded back by a palm sander, and stained again in a new tone. The estimate request form knows which service page you came from and fills that in, and a map shows the home base in Falmouth, Nova Scotia.
This is a real client site, so the goal wasn't a portfolio piece, it was a front door for estimate requests. Every photo is the client's own finished work, sorted by the kind of job, so a homeowner can see the work closest to their own project before they ask. Requests arrive with the type of work, contact details, and a description already filled in, and the visitor gets an automatic reply. The client gets the complete master files: domain and hosting stay entirely in the client's hands, this is the build, not the hosting. The live build linked above is a showcase copy, so its form does not send.
