A handmade crochet shop site built and delivered for a real paying client in the Guelph-Waterloo region, not a concept mockup.
Before this site, every order ran through Instagram DMs: no organized price list, no consistent way to collect size, colour, and timeline details up front, and no written policy covering deposits, cancellations, or personalized items. That works at a small scale, but it puts the maker at risk on every custom order and makes pricing look inconsistent from one customer to the next.
A single-page shop site built around the actual shape of a made-to-order crochet business: a photo gallery pulled from real finished pieces, a full price list by category, clear delivery and shipping options, and an order-request form that collects size, colour, quantity, and a needed-by date before anything is quoted. A full cancellation, refund, and pattern-disclaimer policy is published up front, so both sides know the terms before a deposit changes hands.
This is a real, delivered client site, so the goal wasn't a portfolio piece, it was a working order-intake system. Every request that comes through the form already has the size, colour, quantity, and timeline needed to send a real quote back, and the published policy means a deposit conversation never has to start from scratch. Hosting stays entirely in the client's hands, this is the build, not the hosting.
