Collaborative filmmaking usually requires everyone in the same room at the same time. Distributed contributors need real AI-assisted scripting and a delivery pipeline that works without any of them ever meeting.
A confessional-cast format, where cast members shoot their own scenes alone, on their own phones, never seeing each other's material, needs two things a normal production pipeline doesn't handle: personalized story material generated per character, and an intake-to-delivery system with no in-person coordination step anywhere in it.
A Story Builder using live Claude API calls to generate per-character confessional packets: voice, scene context, opening line, and improvisation beats. Story and footage submissions run through a Google Form intake feeding an admin packet-delivery pipeline. Video assembly runs on ffmpeg, run directly, after a paid third-party editor was deliberately cut for cost and reliability issues, keeping the entire production pipeline at zero ongoing cost. Content spans 11 genres and 110 premises.
Live, payment-integrated. Free entry with a preset premise, or $10 for a fully original story credited to the submitter.
