Sweet Molly's British Shop & Bakery

A concept mockup for a real Acton, Ontario shop that had no website at all — just a Facebook page. Built to sell three identities (import shop, bakery, tea room) under one roof without any of them getting lost.

The Problem

Sweet Molly's is a genuinely distinctive business — a British grocery, a from-scratch bakery, and a sit-down tea room, plus a well-loved local landmark (a moose statue out front the whole town knows) — and none of that was showing up anywhere online except scattered Facebook posts. A first-time visitor searching Acton for British groceries had no way to find hours, address, or even confirm the shop still exists.

The Solution

A layout built around the shop's actual identity instead of a generic "bakery template": a triple-identity section explaining shop, bakery, and tea room as three distinct reasons to visit, a dedicated section for the Molly-the-moose landmark story that turns a fun local detail into a memorable hook, and hours/address/contact surfaced clearly enough that this could function as their real site on day one.

What This Is Designed To Do

This is a concept mockup, not a live client site. What it demonstrates: leading with what makes the business actually different (three identities, one landmark) instead of a generic "welcome to our bakery" page, and a layout that works just as well for someone standing outside deciding whether to come in as it does for someone searching from their phone.
